Healthy Eating

Children are growing, developing and have underdeveloped immune systems – making eating healthy the utmost of importance for children.

A child’s body needs nutrition, not just food
– Julie Webb Kelley

Our menu focuses on a diet high in fruits, vegetables, grains and meats. Children need carbohydrates for their high-energy levels, fat for essential fatty acids and enough iron, calcium, vitamin D, zinc and magnesium to support their growing bodies and immune systems.
We encourage an intake of whole foods and avoid processed foods to ensure a balance of nutritional intake.
